Leider habe ich das typische Rost-Problem. Wie bekomme ich die seitlichen Blenden ab?

bei meinem E91 LCI ist die linke Rückfahrleuchte defekt. Könnt ihr mir erklären, wie ich an die Birne komme?

(Sommerreifen mit W-Kennnung sind natürlich montiert).

Letztlich ist es mir egal, fahre selten schneller als 200km/h. Aber interessieren würde es mich trotzdem. Habt ihr eine Idee warum das so ist?

Meinst Du 221 km/h lt. Tacho?

But my E91runs with the PPK only until 238 km/h (19 Zoll) and not faster. You really feel, the the engine reduce the power. I would be happy,if my tacho would shows 248 km/h. Which tires do you have?

I have already installed the PPK on my E90 320d '08 320d (177HP) since 2010 and I can tell you for sure, the following:

1) The Vmax limit is not related to the car tyres, but the engine and the factory limitations. Furthermore, it's based on tacho speed and not real speed (it's 235 Km/h).

2) Yes it does exist, due to factory warranty limitations.

3) After the installation of the kit, a total software update will take place (it lasted 5 hours on my car). Again, not related to the Vmax limitation.

4) Probably not, because it's something out of factory engine limits, and if something goes wrong (break the engine i.e) you will blame BMW and ask for any kind of compensation. But of course you can remove the Vmax limitation by software encoding, outside of a BMW dealer though.

My car with the PPK reaches 248 Km/h top speed now, where the Vmax limit cuts the power, see the attached recently taken photo.

Finally, I've tested a same car as mine with an ECU remap+ DPF off and Vmax limit removed, and I reached 255 Km/h top speed on the tacho. So, you earn +7 Km/h only, not worth playing with the engine limits.

Wie alt is die Jetzige?

7 Jahre und 150tkm.

Gibt es ne Möglichkeit die Batterie zu testen?

Vor kurzem war bei mir im Fehlerspeicher hinterlegt, dass die Spannung der Batterie zu gering war. Seitdem geht Start/Stop nicht mehr. Sonst ist alles normal.
Als ich jetzt vor kurzem 1100km am Stück gefahren bin, ging auf einmal Start/Stop wieder.Aber nur kurz.Nach 3-4 Kurzstrecken war es damit wieder vorbei.

Das Auto springt normal an, sonst merkt man nichts. Das Start/Stop nicht funkioniert, stört mich nicht. Allerdings habe ich keine Lust im Winter irgendwo mal zu stehen und sie gibt komplett den Geist auf.

Wie kann ich am Besten ausmessen, wieviele mm die Spurverbreiterung breit sein darf?

Aktuell habe ich das Vogtland Sportfahrwerk drin und die BMW Styling 230 drauf.
